English Speaking Lesson -2
Here is example of how native speaker of english language speak day to
day.It's better to say sentences ALOUD many times.When you speak ALOUD
your toungue and other vocal muscles and ears get accustomed to the new
language.Reading silently would do no good,so please note this : Read
Loudly the sentences a number of times and let the structure of
conversational style sink in you.
Tim , her seven year old , ran into the kitchen. He slid into a chair at the table and said,
Tim : I'll have bacon and eggs.
Mary : Whatever happened to good morning ?
Tim : Good morning. I'll have bacon and egg.
Tim : Please.
Tim : Aw, Come on , Mom. I'm going to be late for school.
Mary : I'm glad you mentioned that. Mrs Reynolds called me.You're failing maths.What do you say to that ?
Tim : It figures.
Mary : Tim , Is that supposed to be a joke ?
Beth : I personally don't think its funny.
He (tim) made a face at his sister (beth )
Tim : If you want funny, look in the mirror.
Mary : That's enough.Behave yourselves. ( her headache was getting worse.)
Tim : Can I go to the skating rink after school, Mom ?
Mary : You are already skating on thin ice. You're to come right home and study.How do you think it looks for a college professor to have a son who's is failing maths ?
Tim : It looks okay.You don't teach maths.
